DAVID the Dog needs a home

Adorable David needs a foster home for a few weeks, and we think you'll find he's an excellent companion! He's a medium-sized mixed-breed dog, longer than he is tall. He's about 7 years old, housetrained, and he's friendly and walks well on his leash. He has a gorgeous reddish-brown coat and a sweet personality. David is heartworm positive, and he'd like to have a foster home where he can hang out while he goes through treatment. If you are interested in fostering this good boy, please call  (904) 321-1647 ext. 103. We'll provide everything you need, including food and bowls.  Heartworms are not contagious to other animals. The recovery time is much easier in a home than in a shelter with lots of barking dogs. He'll just need quiet time for a few weeks, and then the heartworms will be gone and he'll be ready to find his forever home. You'll be doing a wonderful thing for a great guy, and you'll have the wonderful feeling of knowing that you helped to mend a heart. If you can help, please call us or come on over and meet David!
